An engineer turned conservation scientist who integrates latest technologies with data and concepts from elephant communication, behaviour and ecology to understand the ecological and evolutionary processes, that promote wildlife conservation. Seema is a Ph.D. candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
Mihika Sen
Research Assistant
Mihika completed her Bachelor's in Biotechnology. She has had an interest in wildlife conservation throughout her life. Her studies focus on the genetic diversity and behavioural ecology of Asian elephants, and their applications in the prevention of man-elephant conflict.
Shraddha Vadgama
Research Assistant (Former Member)

Shraddha completed her Master's in Wildlife and Management. Her areas of interest are reintroduction of captive elephants into their natural habitat, captive elephant training and welfare management, behavioural ecology of wild elephants and human-wildlife conflict mitigation.

Dr. Raman Sukumar
Professor and Advisor
Dr. R. Sukumar is a Professor at the Centre for Ecological Studies, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is also the Managing Trustee, Asian Nature Conservation Foundation. His major area of interest is Asian elephant ecology and management.
